Steps
- 1
Heat a frying pan over the medium flame- dry roast the nuts until lightly golden brown, then set aside once done
- 2
Make small pieces of the bread slices & add in the to the same pan & roast/toast the sliced breads until golden, evenly from all its sides
- 3
Add in the milk & sugar in a pot & pour it now, to the frying pan & cook until the breads turn soft, mushy & gooey
- 4
This mixture needs to thicken absolutely though, initially it’the be a bit gooey
- 5
Add in the Cardamom Powder & Ghee & mix everything together until well incorporated
- 6
When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan- add in the roasted nuts & continue cooking for another couple more mins time
- 7
It’ll be seen that the Halwa has started releasing the ghee at this point...turn off the flame & transfer it to the serving dish
- 8
Garnish, according to your own choice with some more chopped nuts & serve it either warm itself or chilled...Both are simply, decadent and tastes absolutely heavenly 😋💁🏻♀️😍
