Steps
- 1
In a bowl, mix the flour, oil, butter, sugar, egg white, and salt. Gradually add water until you get a soft dough similar to donut dough.
- 2
Let the dough rest in a warm place while you prepare the filling.
- 3
After preparing the seasoned ground meat, flatten it on plastic wrap and cut it with a round cutter to get uniform sizes. Place them in the freezer briefly to firm up.
- 4
Meanwhile, cut small dough balls weighing about 1 ounce each (or larger if you prefer bigger burgers). Place them on a baking sheet, brush with egg yolk, sprinkle with some sesame seeds, and let them rise in a warm place.
- 5
Bake the dough balls in a preheated oven at medium heat until golden on the bottom, then turn on the top heat to brown the tops. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- 6
Cook the ground meat on a grill, in the oven, or in a skillet with a little oil.
- 7
Cut the burger buns in half. Place the bottom half on a serving plate, add a little mayonnaise, a lettuce leaf, the cooked meat, and cover with a cheese square. Top with the other half of the bun. You can add tomatoes or onions if desired.
- 8
However, a tip for those preparing burgers for birthday parties or any occasion: do not add onions and tomatoes as the burgers will sit on the table for a while, and the taste of onions and tomatoes will change. Enjoy!
