Firstly, dry roast 1 cup rava on low flame for 2-3 minutes.

Now in a kadai heat 1 tbsp oil and add 1 tsp mustard, tsp urad dal, dried red chilli and few curry leaves. saute till the mustard seeds splutter.add in onion and saute well.

Now pour 3 cups water and get to a vigorous boil.

Keeping the flame on low start adding roasted rava slowly, stirring continuously on another hand.

Now mix continuously till the rava absorbs water. cover and simmer on low flame for 5 minutes or till upma is cooked well.

Furthermore turn off the flame and add lemon juice.

Finally, serve rava upma.
