Ingredients

4 servings
  • 250 gramshaljam
  • 1/2 tbspnred chili powder
  • 1 tbspnsalt
  • 2tomatoes
  • 4-5green chillies for garnishing
  • 1/4 cupchopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbpsn garlic pasta
  • 1 tbpsn ginger paste
  • 1/2 cupoil
  • 1onion
  • 1/2 tspn turmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    First boil shaljam in 5 cups of water for about 15 mins.

  2. 2

    Parallelly in a pan add oil and chopped onion in it.let it slightly golden brown.

  3. 3

    Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Bhonify it for 5mins.

  4. 4

    After 15mins shaljam become tender and soft so took out from water peel off its skin and mashed it.

  5. 5

    Add the mashed shaljam in the masala we made using onion,tomatoes and spices.cover it and cook it for 10 mins.

  6. 6

    Garnish it with green chillies and coriander leaves.
