It’s the Festive Season and who can resist Indian desserts of various kinds, taste. Such a huge range we have. Halwa cannot be far behind so I made with Hara Moong Dal instead of the usual one.

It’s the Festive Season and who can resist Indian desserts of various kinds, taste. Such a huge range we have. Halwa cannot be far behind so I made with Hara Moong Dal instead of the usual one.
Steps

In a pan, roast Hara Moong Dal until brown in colour.

Blend to a coarse powder. Set aside.
- 3
In a pan, boil 3& 1/2 cups water and set aside.

In another pan, heat ghee and add Moong Dal powder, mix well.
- 5
Add boiled water and stir until there is no lump.
- 6
Add sugar, milk powder, pistachios, almonds and walnuts and keep stirring for 10 mins until a Halwa consistency is reached. Set aside.

Plate and enjoy.
