In a cup add 1 teaspoon of sugar and the yeast

Add warm water and allow to proof for 2 minutes

In a bowl add the flour,the butter,salt, sugar and mix

In the proofed yeast add milk and 5 tablespoon of oil

Pour the yeast mixture in the flour, mix slowly to forming a dough

Knead the dough for 2 minutes and allow to rest for an hour

After an hour roll out the dough about 2 inches thick and cut out the doughnut shapes

Place the cut out doughnut on a gresead pan and cover for 30 minutes

Deep fry in a medium heated oil till brown
- 10
Coat the doughnut in sugar and serve warm
