Tired of dealing with sweet potatoes, I tried to make it a main dish of the day. As a result, this is now one of my family's favorite!

Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsThinly sliced pork
  2. 300 gramssweet potato
  3. 100 gramslotus root
  4. 6shiitake mushroooms
  5. 1 Tbspsugar
  6. 2 Tbspmirin
  7. 1 Tbspsake
  8. 2 Tbspsoysauce
  9. salt and pepper
  10. 1 Tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the sweet potatoes and lotus root at approximately the same thickness. Cut the Shiitake mushrooms in to your preferred size. Mix sugar, mirin, and soysauce together.

    On a pan, spread the sweet potatoes and the lotus root, start heating (small - medium heat), wait until they are cooked (Turn up-side-down, sometimes).

    Add pork, shiitake mushrooms, and oil to the pan, season with sake, salt and pepper, stir until the pork is cooked.

  4. 4

    Add the mixed seasonings, stir until the seasonings are boiled down to a thick sauce. Stop the heat and serve.
