Ingredients

6-8 persons
  1. For preparation of dough
  2. 2 cupsmaida
  3. 6 tbspoil or butter
  4. 1egg
  5. 2 tbspcaster sugar
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 2 tspinstant yeast
  8. 1/2 cupwarm milk
  9. Warm water as required
  10. For chicken filling
  11. 1 cupBoiled, shredded chicken
  12. 2 tbspmaida
  13. 1 cupmilk
  14. 2 tbspbutter
  15. 1large onion (chopped)
  16. 2medium sized capsicum
  17. 2green onions (finely chopped)
  18. 1 tspsalt
  19. 1 tbspblack pepper
  20. 1 tbspwhite pepper
  21. 1 tbspgarlic paste or powder

    For the preparation of dough, mix all the above ingredients and knead the dough. Add water according to your requirement. Let it rise for one hour.

    For chicken filling, in a pan heat butter and then sauce onion. Next add maida and stir it. Then add milk gradually and keep stirring until you observe a saucy appearance. Next add all the seasonings ie salt, black pepper, white pepper and onion. Cook for a minute on low flame and the turn off the flame. Now mix your boiled chicke, capsicum and green onions in the sauce mixture.

    For assembling, roll the dough using a rolling pin in a rectangular shape. Spread out the chicken filling at one side and roll the dough as shown in the video

    Cover for another half an hour to rise. Give it a egg wash and sprinkle Kolangi and till.

    Place the bun in a greased pan. Bake at 180°C for half an hour

    Serve and enjoy.
