5 Minute Beef & Ginger Stir-Fry

I wanted to make a simple dish that would taste taste good chilled so that I could pack it for lunches. Since beef toughens up and doesn't taste so good if it's cooked for too long, you should stop stir-frying it as soon as it's been cooked through. (Recipe by Kaisorano mama)

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Chop up the meat. Julienne the ginger. Finely chop the green onion.
- 2
Heat oil in a frying pan and first cook the ginger. Once fragrant, add the meat and continue cooking.
- 3
Once the oil has coated everything, add the sake and the sugar. Briefly stir-fry.
- 4
Remove the ingredients from the pan. Pour in the soy sauce and bring it to a simmer. Return the ingredients and cook in the soy sauce.
- 5
Once cooked, add the green onion and lightly stir-fry to finish.
- 6
If adding Japanese leek (naga-negi), add it in a little bit before the soy sauce.

Someone in da house wanted this. He shall remain anonymous. So I searched on line to see if I could find something. Seems complicated because lol - grams means nothing to me but I do have a scale…but many do not. So here it is and I hope I made it easier. My recipe when I cooked it was doubled. BTW yet again I forgot to take a picture of the final dish. So you will have to do with the picture I took pre final…I never learn. Katatonickat -

Easy & Refreshing Beef Stir-Fry Easy & Refreshing Beef Stir-Fry
I wanted to make a recipe using domestic beef and a Sunshine Tomato from Iwaki in Fukushima prefecture to match with Japanese rice that we can be proud of. Something that was quick to cook and easy to eat and went well with rice, and so this recipe was born. The tender beef, the sweetness of the Japanese leek and the acidity of the tomatoes go well together, and really whets your appetite. It's beef so you just have to cook it briefly. The key to this dish is to use high heat throughout to stir fry everything. The tomato just has to be quickly stir-fried too.If you cook the leek for some time, it will become sweeter and more tasty. For 2 servings. Recipe by Satomiwa cookpad.japan -
