Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmethi leaves
  2. 2 cupsbasmati rice
  3. 1onion
  4. Boiled 1 potato, 2 carrots and beans
  5. 4 tspcoconut
  6. 2 tspghee
  7. Cardamom
  8. 4cloves
  9. 1cinnamon stick
  10. 2 tsppoppy seeds
  11. 0.5 cupcoriander leaves
  12. 1bay leaf
  13. 1 cupgreen peas
  14. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  15. 1 tspcumin seeds
  16. 1 tspbisibelebath powder
  17. 1green chilli
  18. Cashews
  19. 1 tbsplemon concentrated

Cooking Instructions

    Soak basmati rice in water for at least 30 minutes. Soak more time for better texture

    In a pan take ghee + cumin seeds + bay leaf + cinnamon stick. Sauté for awhile and ginger garlic paste and onions and sauté until it turns golden brown

    In a mixer take coconut + coriander leaves + poppy seeds+ cardamom + cloves + green chilli and grind a rough mixture

    Now add methi leaves to the pan and sauté for few minutes. Add the mixture from step 2 here and mix well.

    Now add half boiled vegetables + green peas salt + cashews + bisibele bath powder + lemon. Once it boils add soaked basmati rice and add equal proportion of water and cook for 20 minutes in medium flame.

    Serve it hot with salad
