I cheated,I used a shop bought Packet of Chilli Con Carne seasoning,the Chilli spice proved to be very mild,did deseed about 4 large red Chillies,these had a very mild chilli heat as well.

Ingredients

4 people
  • 450 gBeef Mince
  • 2large onions
  • About 4 large red Chillies
  • About 150ml cold water
  • 200 g- 250g / 1 tin of Red Kidney Beans
  • 200 g- 250g / Cannelini Beans,or use 2 tin's of Red Kidney Bean
  • 400 g- 2 tin's of chopped tomatoes with tomato juice
  • 1/2 tbsp.Sea Salt
  • 2 tbsp.Olive Oil
  • 1 packetChilli Con Carne seasoning
  • 400 graw white rice,One large mug

    Add 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil too a large frying pan with lid,add chopped onions too the large frying pan,add deseeded Chillies and minced beef within - about a 10 minute period.

    Put 3 large mugs of cold water in a medium sized saucepan.Place rice in a rice sieve,drain under the cold water tap,add the One large mug of rice to the saucepan of warm water,or boiling water and then cook until the rice has absorbed the water,once done can turn the hob off and leave the saucepan lid on.

    Add the tinned chopped tomatoes with it's tomato juice too the large frying pan - along with the cooked beef mince,chopped onions and roughly chopped mild red Chillies - open the tin's of beans,wash each variety of beans in the rice sieve under the cold water tap and then eventually add them to the large frying pan as well,add Sea Salt if you have not already done so - add the Packet of Chilli Con Carne seasoning to the large frying pan and about 150ml of cold water,boil,then simmer with lid on

    After simmering for 20 minutes,should be done - so serve some of the Chilli Con Carne with cooked boiled rice and then enjoy.(2 portions,half of Chilli Con Carne and half of cooked rice provides a very filling meal.)

If you don't have a packet of Chilli Con Carne seasoning - as it says on the back of the Packet - it lists a lot of ingredients,but cayenne pepper and Paprika is mentioned - a bit of sugar is good to add a bit of sweetness,did taste a bit of sweetness from the dissolved ingredients of the Packet of Chilli Con Carne seasoning.
