Ingredients

  1. 1 cupChana Dal
  2. 1/2 cupMoong Dal
  3. 1 cupFresh Methi
  4. as per tasteSalt
  5. 2green chillies, chopped
  6. 12 Clovesgarlic
  7. 1 tsp.chopped ginger
  8. 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  9. 1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
  11. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  12. 1/2 tsp. Asafoetida
  13. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  14. 2 tbspncurd or as (requirement)
  15. as requiredPomegranate seeds to garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Soak both moong and Chana dal for 2 hours.

    Then remove all water and grind them with ginger, garlic and green chilli and make paste. If needed add some curd not water.

    After making paste mix salt and baking soda.

  4. 4

    Keep into warm place for fermet for 8 to 10 hours.

    Now add fresh methi and all spices and mix well.

    Add baking powder and mix.

  7. 7

    Put into greased katori moulds and steam for 5 minutes in microwave.

    Let them some cool then demould.

    Garnish with pomegranate seeds. Or your choice.

    Serve with any sauce.
