Ingredients

  1. 100 mldouble cream
  2. 200 mlboiling water or beef stock
  3. Soy sauce to taste
  4. Ground white pepper to taste
  5. 1 tbspflour (to thicken the sauce)
  6. Salt to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    In a small saucepan boil the water, then reduce heat and whisk in the double cream.

  2. 2

    Season to taste with salt, pepper and soy sauce.

  3. 3

    Whisk in the flour. Continue to whisk until the sauce has thickened.

  4. 4

    I strained the sauce using a colander to remove any lumps from the sauce but that is optional.

  5. 5

    Serve the sauce over over boiled potatoes and meatballs.
