Pluck methi leaves and keep in a bowl of water as methi has dirt inside.Soak for 20 minutes.Wash thouroughly to remove dirt and sand.keep in strainer when water is drained chop finely and keep aside.

Mix gramflour,salt to taste,red chilli powder,haldi powder,ajwain powder,hing powder,mashed paneer,grated lauki,chopped green chillies,hot oil 2 tsp.Mix methi leaves and it should be a thick batter.1 or 2 tsp water is required as lauki has its own water.

Grease appam patra add cold pressed mustard oil in cavities.Add methi besan balls in it.

Grill for few minutes onobe side,then flip it over.

Cook koftas till golden brown on both sides.keep aside.

For gravy -- Chop 2 onions.Heat oil add zeera,add chopped onions saute till light golden brown.Add tomato puree made with blanched tomatoes,pureed and sauteed for 20 min till semidry.

Add all dry masalas, add haldi powder,dhania powder,salt to taste,garam masala powder is optional 1/4 th tsp.Mix well and cook till oil separetes.Add boiled water make gravy accordingly.

Add koftas and boil for 5 to 7 minutes.Close gas,add in serving bowl.Add chopped green coriander for garnish.Add swirls of coconut milk.Serve with Roti or Parantha.

Delicious koftas are ready.
