I found this recipe on an old ikea Recipe card.
We had this with beef meatballs but traditionally its served with a mixed meat meatball (normally beef and pork).

We had this with beef meatballs but traditionally its served with a mixed meat meatball (normally beef and pork).
Steps

In a small saucepan boil the water, then reduce heat and whisk in the double cream.

Season to taste with salt, pepper and soy sauce.

Whisk in the flour. Continue to whisk until the sauce has thickened.

I strained the sauce using a colander to remove any lumps from the sauce but that is optional.

Serve the sauce over over boiled potatoes and meatballs.
