Ingredients

  1. 400 gmchicken mince
  2. 1onion
  3. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  4. 2tomatoes
  5. 1capsicum (red, green, yellow, orange, each)
  6. 1potato
  7. 1/4 cuppeas
  8. 1/4 cupchopped spinach
  9. 2 tbspchopped fenugreek (methi)
  10. 1/2 cupoil
  11. 1/2 cupyogurt
  12. 1 tspred chilli powder
  13. 1 tspsalt
  14. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. 1 inchpiece of cinnamon stick
  17. 3-4green cardamom
  18. 1black cardamom
  19. 2-3cloves
  20. 4-5black peppercorns
  21. Coriander for garnish
  22. 2-3green chillies for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pot. Add whole spices and sliced onion. Fry till onion changes colour.

  2. 2

    Add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic pastes, and all spices. Fry till tomatoes are soft and oil separates.

  3. 3

    Add chicken mince. Fry over low flame till it changes colour. Cover and cook for 10 mins over low to medium flame.

    Add all veggies except the capsicums. Add yogurt. Mix well. Cover and cook. Vegetables will release their water. Let mince cook in it.

    When the veggies and mince are soft, and well mixed, add cubed capsicums. Add chopped green chillies. Cover and turn off flame.

  6. 6

    I prefer my chillies and capsicums crunchy, so I do not cook them too much, and serve immediately.

  7. 7

    Garnish with freshly chopped coriander before serving. Enjoy!
