Steps

In a large mixing bowl, add suji/semolina.

To it, add gram flour.

Next add curd and salt. Mix well to break lumps. Add water and mix again. Cover and allow to rest for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, mix lightly and set aside. Meanwhile, grease a plate and set aside.

To the rested mixture, add the chopped tomato and cumin seeds. Next add garam masala powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and mix well.

Add grated potato and mix well.

Add the chopped green chillies and mix. Add the chopped green bell pepper and mix.

Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Add little water and mix.

Add baking soda and little water and mix again. Pour the mixture into the greased plate. Tap lightly to spread evenly.

Steam it for 10 minutes on low to medium flame. Once ready allow to cool down to room temperature.

Cut the cake into desired shape.

Heat oil in a pan. Saute the suji besan steamed cakes on both sides.

Soft and fluffy Suji Besan Snacks are ready. Serve it with red chilli sauce, green chutney and a hot cup of ginger-cardamom tea.
