Soak rice for 15 mins

Cut beans and carrots into small cube like pieces

In a pressure cooker, add 3 tablespoons oil, zeera, heeng, long and tez patta and fry for a few mins until zeera cooks

Add beans and carrots and toss for a bit
- 5
Add salt, mirchi and haldi
- 6
Add rice and 2 cups of water (1 per cut of rice) and an addition 1/4-1/2 more
- 7
Mix well and taste for salt and chilli
- 8
Pressure cook for 1 whistle (approx 10 mins)
