At first boil dal with salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil in a pan and add onion, garlic, tomato puree, bay leaves and fry them well by adding a pinch of sugar

Add boiled dal and all spices

Give a tadka of jeera and hing
- 5
Add some coriander leaves and butter and serve it hot with your phulkas.
