Garita Cafeteria's Charsiu (Stewed Pork)

This looked delicious from the the "Garita Cafeteria" show, so I wanted to try and make it; the ingredient amounts for the preparation etc. were not listed, so I estimated the amounts and made this.
It is a bit late, but I added a photo. Recipe by Hanyakkusu

Steps
- 1
Tie the pork block with kitchen twine if it is not already tied up. Slice the ginger. Thickly slice the Japanese leeks, or slice diagonally. Grate the garlic.
- 2
Lightly rub the meat with the sake for prep to remove the odor, and rub in the sugar. Then, rub in the garlic, and the prep work is done.
- 3
Heat lard in a stain pot or Dutch oven, and cook the meat on both sides, add soy sauce, sake, mirin, Japanese leeks, and ginger into the pot, cover with a lid, and stew for 30 minutes.
- 4
The meat was not fully submerged in the sauce, so I flipped it over several times.
