Ingredients

  1. 1.5 lbhamburger meat
  2. 2 canskidney beans (I use 1 light, 1 dark) (drained and rinsed)
  3. 2 cansdiced (14.5oz) tomatoes (drained)
  4. 1/2onion
  5. Green Pepper
  6. 1 tbspChili powder
  7. 1 tspCumin
  8. 2 tbspsWorcestershire sauce
  9. 1 tspgarlic salt
  10. 1/2 cwater (if you like to thinner chili - omit if you like thicker)
  11. Top with cheese and sour cream (if desired)

Cooking Instructions

    Set instant pot to saute add a few tbsp of olive oil and brown meat, add onions and bell peppers if desired. Cook until onions soften a bit. Drain if desired, I do not drain.

    Empty cans of beans, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes on top (do not drain cans before adding).. Add chili seasoning, cumin and Worcestershire sauce and stir everything together.

    Set it to manual, pressure, high for 10 minutes. Do a natural release for 5 minutes followed by a quick release of steam.

    Done! Serve by itself or my family likes it with cheese and sour cream on top.
