Ingredients

20 minutes
  1. 1 cupghee
  2. 1 cupbesan
  3. 1 cupshredded fresh coconut
  4. 1 cupmilk
  5. 1 cupkhoa or milk powder
  6. 1 cupcashew powder
  7. 2 cupsugar
  8. 1/2 tspelachi
  9. few strands of saffron

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Melt ghee in a pan. Add Besan and roast for five minutes.

  2. 2

    Add coconut, khoa, milk, cashew powder and sugar to the pan. Let it cook until it thickens and leaves ghee on the sides.

  3. 3

    Add Saffron and cardomom and set it on a flat surface to cut it into barfi shapes.
