Ingredients

30 mins
5 servings
  • 100 gmsWhite sesame seeds roasted
  • 2 tbspnginger grated
  • 50 gmsjaggery
  • 1/4 cupgond
  • 1/4 cupmixed nuts(cashews, almonds, pista, walnuts, foxnuts)
  • 1/4 cupraisins, dates, melon seeds, khuskhus

Steps

  1. 1

    First of all dry roast all the dryfruits, melon seeds and khuskhus. keep aside

  2. 2

    In a pan add 1/2 tspn of ghee, add gond and roast untill the started puffing. keep aside

  3. 3

    Now take dates and raisins roughly gring them. And finaly add dryfruits, gond and melon seeds. make small size balls.

  4. 4

    Now take roasted sesame, add ginger and jaggery mix well.

  5. 5

    Divide the sesame seeds mix in equal portion, portion must be bigger in size than dates dryfruits balls prepared earlier.

  6. 6

    Take one portion, stuffed it with a date ball, and give it the shape of modak.

  7. 7

    In the same way prepare other modak also and serve.
