You can switch up the ingredients with whatever you have.
The pictured face used salmon furikake to get the color. You can also use the yolk from a boiled egg or maybe a bit of ketchup! Mr. Mikan would also be pretty cute if you used carrots!
To make the leaf on top of the head, cut the shape out of a boiled snap pea. Recipe by Mai*Mai

  1. 1Hot cooked rice
  2. 1Furikake, ketchup, etc
  3. 1Nori seaweed
  4. 1Snap peas
  5. 1Ketchup

Steps

    Lay down a sheet of nori seaweed on top of the rice in the bento lunchbox.

    Make one large and one small long and thin rice ball. Mix a separate, small amount of rice with the ingredients and make a small ball.

    Parts: Leaf - snap peas Eyes and mouth - nori seaweed Cheeks - ketchup

    Assemble the rice balls on top of the sheet of nori seaweed, attach the face parts, and you're done!
