Salt-Flavoured Yakisoba with Lots of Vegetables

I was addicted to instant salt-flavoured yakisoba, but since I was pregnant, I made a more nutritional version at home! This became my kids' favourite dish.

Drain the excess water from the vegetables and stir-fry so that the dish won't be watery.

Please adjust the salt to your liking. Adding a generous amount of Chinese soup stock granules will make the dish more flavourful.

When the kids are having this dish, don't add black pepper in the sauce. Sprinkle it at the end for adults. Recipe by Tomumaro

Ingredients

2 servings
  • 2portions Yakisoba noodles
  • 5cm Chopped green onion
  • 1anything is ok Cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts
  • 1Thinly sliced pork belly
  • 1Sesame oil, white sesame seeds
  • Sauce
  • 50 mlWater
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 1/2 tspChinese soup stock (or Weipa)
  • 1Grated garlic
  • 2 tspLemon juice
  • 1generous amount Black pepper

Steps

    Microwave the yakisoba noodles in the bag for 2 minutes. Chop the vegetables, and cut the carrots into thin strips.

    Mix the sauce ingredients and set asides.

  3. 3

    Stir-fry the meat, Step 1, and the green onion in sesame oil. When they are soft and wilted, add the noodles, pour in the Step 2 sauce, and stir-fry well.

  4. 4

    Swirl in sesame oil, sprinkle with white sesame oil for the finish, and done.

  5. 5

    You can make plenty on an electric griddle.
