For the Misal masala:
Heat the oil in a broad pan, add the onions and garlic and dry roast on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. - 2
Add all the remaining ingredients and saute on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the flame and allow it to cool completely. Then blend in a mixer to a smooth powder without using any water. Keep aside.

For misal:
Boil the matki, moong and white peas in a pressure cooker.

Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the onions and saute on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.

Add the prepared misal masala and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute. Add the tomatoes, turmeric powder and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes stirring occasionally.

Add salt and the boiled mixture. Mix it well and let it cook for 5 minutes. Misal is ready.

Serve it with pav and xhopped onions and mixed farsan and lemon squeezed on thhe misal
