Steps

Peel pointed guard and remove its seeds then cut into pieces, also potatoes cut in cubes

Take oil in a pan and add pointed guard and souter it in 2 minutes like this also souter potatoes.

Take a pan add oil when it heated up add cumin seeds heeng,cloves, bay leaves,cinnamon then add tomato paste and add turmeric, red pepper, coriander powder to it.cover with lid.for sometime and stir it at regular interval of time.

When oil spills over puree add pointed guard and potatoes and a glass of water then add garam masala, kasoori methi and haradhania to it.

Cook til potatoes soften.

Enjoy with paratha, chapati or rice
