Palak Paneer is one of the most loved North Indian Dishes. This delicious creamy dish is made with fresh spinach leaves, paneer (cottage cheese), onions, tomatoes, herbs and spices.
It is very healthy and easy to prepare and every family prepared it in their own way.
For this recipe I follow the method of blanching spinach to prevent loss of Nutrients and also the dish has a nice green color . Do try this you will surely love it

Palak Paneer is one of the most loved North Indian Dishes. This delicious creamy dish is made with fresh spinach leaves, paneer (cottage cheese), onions, tomatoes, herbs and spices.

For this recipe I follow the method of blanching spinach to prevent loss of Nutrients and also the dish has a nice green color . Do try this you will surely love it

Fir blanching the spinach...In pot of boiling water, add little salt and then spinach leaves to it. Blanch the spinach leaves for 2 to 3 minutes until wilted.
Take them out and put them in ice cold water for 2-3 minutes.
Then drain water and keep spinach aside. - 2
In a pan heat 1tbsp oil, splattered 1tsp Cummin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and green chilli. Thn add ginger-garlic and onions stir and cook till onion becomes transparent. Keep the flame on medium-high.
Now add tomato, cook till tomatoes become soft. Turn of flame. - 3
When it's comes to the room temperature. Grind it along with blanched Spinach. You get a perfect green colour paste.keep it aside.

Heat butter in a pan and roast paneer cubes till become golden. Keep it aside.

Again heat 1tbsp oil in same pan splattered Cummin seeds and red chilli. Keep the flame on low. Add coriander powder and chilli powder. Stir it for few seconds. Then add prepared green paste. Stir and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
Keep the flame on low-medium. - 6
Now add roasted paneer cubes mix well. Stir and cook for 4-5 minutes. Then add salt and garam masala. Add 1/4cup water, cook till boil. Add cream mix well. Cover and cook for another minutes. Turn off flame.

Delicious Palak Paneer is ready. Serve hot with roti, paratha,or naan.
