  1. 1 cupchhole
  2. 2 tbspchana dal
  3. 2onion finally chopped
  4. 2tomatoes puree
  5. 1 piececinnamon
  6. 5/6laung
  7. 1 tbspcumin seeds
  8. 1star anise
  9. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  10. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  11. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  12. 1 tspturmeric powder
  13. 1 tbspgaram masala powder
  14. 5 tbspoil
  15. 2 tbsptea leaf
  16. 2bay leaves
  17. as per tastesalt
  18. 1/2 tspaamchur powder

Cooking Instructions

    Soak chhole and chana dal overnight..boil 2 cup water with tea leaf..add cinnamon laung star anise and drained tea water 1 chopped onion in chhole and pressure cook

    Let it cool and make sure that chana are well cooked

  3. 3

    Take a pan add cumin seeds and bay leaf and add chopped onion and cook

  4. 4

    Now add all powder masalas satute for few minutes and add tomato puree

  5. 5

    Mix well till the oil separates. Add water to adjust gravy.close the lid and cook for 5 minutes

  6. 6

    Now tempting chhole is ready to serve I had served with achari Aloo
