Ingredients

30 min + 6 hrs
4 to 5 people
  1. 1 quartwhole milk
  2. 7 ouncesnatural yogurt

Cooking Instructions

30 min + 6 hrs
  1. 1

    Mise en place:
To finish the yogurt, use a thermos, jar, or bottle, whether plastic or glass, and a cloth or something to wrap it in.

  2. 2

Place the milk in a pot over medium heat. When it reaches a temperature of 176°F (80°C) or when bubbles form around the edges, remove it from the heat.

  3. 3

Pour a little milk into the natural yogurt and mix well.

  4. 4

Add the mixture back into the milk and stir again.

  5. 5

Transfer it to a jar or another container where it can retain heat.

  6. 6

Wrap it with a cloth to maintain the temperature (do not close it with a lid, just with the cloth).
Let it rest for 6 hours, or overnight. You can let it rest in the oven, microwave, a box, under the bed, or in a dry place.

  7. 7

This is the result of the yogurt.
Once ready, refrigerate it. You can add sugar, fruits, granola, whatever you like.☺️❤️
