I wanted to make chicken wings that were easy to eat for my children.

Make a cut in the center of the chicken wings and slice to open them up, to let the flavors penetrate well and ensure that the meat cooks through well.
Children find this easier to eat because it's easy to tell where the bones are.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 12Chicken drumettes or the first joint of a chicken wing
  • 1 tsp☆ Salt
  • 1 clove☆ Garlic (grated)

Steps

  1. 1

    Make a slit in the center of the chicken wings and slice to open up from the slit.

    Put the chicken wings in a plastic bag or a bowl, add salt and grated garlic, and mix well. Leave in the fridge for more than 1 hour.

    Heat a little oil in a pan and put in the opened up chicken wings.

    Brown both sides of the chicken wings. If you're concerned about how well chickens are cooked through, cover the pan and steam-cook after you've flipped them over.
