Ingredients

30-35 minutes
10-14 depending on serving sizes
  1. 2.5 lbshamburger
  2. Large onion
  3. 3 tbspminced garlic
  4. 4 cupschicken broth
  5. 3 cupswater
  6. 48 ozmarinara
  7. 24 ozwide ribbon noodles
  8. 30 ozricotta cheese
  9. 1 tspbasil
  10. 2 cupsmozzarella cheese
  11. 4 cupsItalian blend cheese

Cooking Instructions

30-35 minutes
  1. 1

Brown hamburger meat until only slightly pink (I seasoned my meat with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.) I don’t have exact measurements to this, I’ve always just eyeballed it.

  2. 2

Add diced onion and 3 tbsp garlic into the meat and continue cooking until meat is done and onion is slightly translucent.

  3. 3

    Drain fat from meat.

  4. 4

Add chicken broth, water, marinara and noodles in the pot with the meat.

  5. 5

Cook until noodles are done. (Should take about 15-20 minutes)

  6. 6

    Preheat oven to 425

  7. 7

Mix 30 oz of ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and 1 tsp basil.

  8. 8

Once lasagna mixture is done, put it all in the roaster pan.

  9. 9

Once mixture is in the roaster pan, spread ricotta cheese mixture over the lasagna mixture.

  10. 10

Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and 4 cups Italian cheese blend.

  11. 11

Put in the oven and bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
