Viazi Karai
A delicious Swahili all time snack...
Steps

Peel Potatoes and clean them.

Half the Potatoes and Garlic. Put in a pot with enough water to boil and add some salt to taste.

Once Potatoes are cooked, set aside.

In a bowl, mix in the Gram Flour, all-purpose Flour, Salt and a pinch on the yellow food colour some water and whisk to a medium thick paste.

Heat your oil.

Now take the Potato halves cut them into 4 to 6 pieces and dip them into the paste.

Scoop your well coated Potatoes and deep fry, flip them now and then for a few minutes.

Drain into a lined plate and repeat until you are fine.

Serve your Viazi Karai with Chutney or a Tamarind dip. Enjoy!
