Ingredients

  1. For panner patty
  2. 200 gmPaneer
  3. 80 gmkhoya
  4. 1 tablespoonmix dry fruits
  5. 3 tablespoonBesan
  6. 1 pinchSalt
  7. 1/2 TeaspoonTurmeric for paneer stuffing
  8. 1/2 Teaspoonred chilli powder
  9. as requiredOil to deep fry
  10. 1 teaspoonGaram masala
  11. 1 teaspoonChopped coriander
  12. For Gravy:
  13. 500 gmOnion
  14. 50 gmCashewnut
  15. 50 gmMelon seed
  16. 1 teaspoonGinger Garlic paste
  17. 1 teaspoonGaram masala
  18. 1 teaspoonTurmeric
  19. as per taste Salt
  20. 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  21. 2 tablespoonFresh cream
  22. 1 tablespoonchopped Coriander
  23. 2 cupWater
  24. 1 tablespoonOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly cut paneer into thick square (2 inch) pieces.

  2. 2

    Make a filling by mixing Khoya, Dry fruits, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and chopped coriander.

  3. 3

    Now cut paneer from the middle and stuff the mixture.
    Meanwhile Make a batter with besan, salt, turmeric and little water.

  4. 4

    Now heat oil in kadai, dip the stuffed paneer pieces into batter and deep fry the paneer patty.

  5. 5

    For Gravy:
    In a pan add diced onion, Cashewnut and melon seeds. Add little turmeric and 2 cups of water. Bring it to boil until onions are well cooked.

  6. 6

    Once boil, cool it down and make a fine puree and strain it out.

  7. 7

    Now in a frying pan add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Now add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.

  8. 8

    Now add Turmeric, yellow onion gravy to it and cook for 2-3 min. Add salt, garam masala and red chilli powder to it. Now cook for 4-5 min. Add 2tablespoon of cream.

    Now cut the paneer pieces and add to gravy. Mix it well and add chopped coriander and garnish with cooking cream.
