Ingredients

  1. 1Cabage
  2. 1Onion
  3. 2 cupsIdly rava
  4. 3 tbspurrad dal
  5. 1 tspcoriander seeds
  6. 2 tbspcumin seeds
  7. 4-6red chilli
  8. 4-5 tspshredded coconut
  9. Pinchturmeric
  10. 3 tspjaggery
  11. Salt
  12. 0.5 tsptamarind conc

Cooking Instructions

    In a pan roast Urrad dal + cumin seeds + coriander seeds + shredded coconut + red chilli

  2. 2

    Grind the step 1 ingredients. + tamarind + jaggery + turmeric

  3. 3

    Now mix it with idly Rava and cabbage and onion + oil(ghee) + salt

  4. 4

    Let it rinse for about 3 hours in a warm place

  5. 5

    Now grease the idli plates with ghee and pot the batter slightly thick and steam it for about 25-30 minutes

  6. 6

    Serve the cabbage idli hot with chutney
