Everyone's Favorite Tartar Sauce

This recipe is a result of my efforts to get the distinctive spiciness out of the onions, which even soaking in water wouldn't remove.
This tartar sauce is super delicious over fried chicken and also tasty in sandwiches. Recipe by Yuka mama

Steps
- 1
Boil the eggs (to your preferred degree of doneness. I prefer soft-boiled) While the eggs are cooking, chop the onion and sauté with a little oil.
- 2
Sauté until clear and slightly brown as shown.
- 3
Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Place the yolks directly into a bowl, and mince the egg whites.
- 4
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl, and season with black pepper.
- 5
This recipe should yield this much tartar sauce. (If you have any leftovers, use it to make a delicious sandwich.)
