Ingredients

  1. 5beer brats; bite size pieces
  2. 1yellow bell pepper; medium dice
  3. 1green bell pepper; medium dice
  4. 1red bell pepper; medium dice
  5. 1yellow onion; medium dice
  6. 3 clovegarlic; minced
  7. 1tallboy Guinness can
  8. 1 tbsphorseradish mustard
  9. 2 tsponion powder
  10. 2 tspgarlic powder
  11. 1vegetable oil; as needed
  12. 1salt and pepper

20 mins
  1. 1

    Heat veggie oil in a large saute pan. Add sausage. Season with dried spices, salt, and pepper.

  2. 2

    Saute until caramelized. Remove from pot.

  3. 3

    Add peppers and onions. Saute until veggies are nearly tender. Add garlic and saute until fragrant.

  4. 4

    Return sausage to pot. Add beer. Reduce until nearly evaporated.

  5. 5

    Add horseradish. Toss.

  6. 6

    Variations; Whiskey, coffee, espresso, gin, fennel, celery, marinara, toasted sesame, hoisin, mustard, parsley, basil, potatoes, cabbage, caramelized onions or shallots, roasted bell peppers
