Steps

First, wash the bottle guard / dudhi, then peel its skin and grate it.

Now turn on the gas, put a pan on it, put ghee in it and when it gets hot, add dudhi/ bottle guard and mix it well and let it cook for a while.

Now add malai, raisins, cardamom powder and mix well. Finally add sugar and keep stirring it over medium heat till the water burns.

Dudhi halwa is now ready. You can serve this halva hot or cold or in any way.
