A very easy & a commonplace Bengali okra/Bhindi recipe in almost all the Bengali households-

Arrange all the ingredients aforementioned and get ready for the actual cooking process- Heat up a frying pan over the medium flame- Add in the Tempering Spices- Allow them to turn fragrant…

Now, add in the chopped onions, garlic and green chillies- Sauté until translucent & the raw smell goes off- Add in the seasonings, check out to adjust if required, pour in some hot water to adjust its thick consistency (that’s how it should be like- Not completely dry fried/cooked nor it should’ve a runny consistency

Cover it & allow it to cook for about 10-15 mins time while, stirring occasionally in between- When the water’s almost dried up & sticky like consistency is derived- Turn off the flame, add in the last drizzles of the raw mustard oil and cover it back again to rest on the hot oven for the next 5-7 mins time before serving it hot
