Ingredients

2 people
  • 3/4 cupDaliya / samba rava / broken wheat
  • 1/2 cupMoong dal / Pasi paruppu
  • As neededWater
  • as per tasteSalt
  • Tempering
  • 2 tspCumin / Jeera
  • 1 tspPepper
  • 5cashews broken to small pieces
  • 1green chilli
  • 1small pice of ginger finely chopped
  • 4-5curry leaves
  • 3 tspghee

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash Moong dal and daliya and add 2 glasses of water and a tsp of salt and pressure cook them to 2 whistles

    In a pan, add ghee and temper Pepper, Jeera and let them crackle. Then add the green chilli, curry leaves, ginger and cashews.

    Now add the cooked daliya- Moong dal mix and stir well. Check for salt and add a cording to taste. Add a little water, and close and cook in low flame for a couple of minutes.
