Wash Moong dal and daliya and add 2 glasses of water and a tsp of salt and pressure cook them to 2 whistles

In a pan, add ghee and temper Pepper, Jeera and let them crackle. Then add the green chilli, curry leaves, ginger and cashews.

Now add the cooked daliya- Moong dal mix and stir well. Check for salt and add a cording to taste. Add a little water, and close and cook in low flame for a couple of minutes.

Enjoy the mouthwatering, healthy Daliya pongal with coconut chutney.
