Dal- oats paratha

This is a delicious filling breakfast...
It has wheat flour giving carb portions, dal giving the protein and oats gives fibres, many vitamins and are a good source of antioxidants.
The dal has a nice flavourful tempering so it's inclusion gives a nice masala effect.
Serving of this is very easy as it goes well with pickle and fresh curd.
I need a cup of hot piping tea with it.

In a mixing bowl, put wheat flour and oats. Add salt and mix. Next add spicy tempered dal.

Add water, gradually and knead a soft dough. Brush oil all over the dough. Cover and rest it for at least 10 minutes.
Next take a rolling board. Take a small portion of dough and roll into any shape like circle, square or triangle. If you make square or triangle then in between layers brush oil and dust some dry flour and make the folds, so that while roasting layers come nicely. - 3
Heat the tawa at medium heat. Then roast the parathas with oil or ghee.
Flip the sides and roast both the sides. - 4
It is ready...
Serve hot hot with pickle, curd and tea. - 5

You can give variation in tempering of the dal everytime, so as to change the flavour of the paratha.
