Ingredients

  1. First part
  2. 600 gWater
  3. 1-2 cupsTteok (Original + Pumpkin)
  4. Sauce part
  5. 2 tbsGochujang (Sunchang golden lit)
  6. 3 tbsGukganjang or Soy sauce (Sempio)
  7. 2 tbsMulteot or Corn syrup (CJ)
  8. 2 tbsSugar
  9. 2 tspKorean red chili pepper powder
  10. 2 tspSesame oil
  11. Last part
  12. 1/2 packageOttogi Ramensari or Plain ramen
  13. 3 piecesFish cakes
  14. 6 piecesDumplings
  15. 1 pieceWelsh onion (chopped)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

First, soak "tteok" in "water" so they become soften

  2. 2

Meanwhile, mix "all the ingredients for the sauce part" together and set aside

  3. 3

After the tteok looks a bit soften, turn on medium heat and wait a bit for the water to start to boil and then add the sauce part in and mix well using spatula or whatever cooking utensils you have

  4. 4

Keep stirring so the tteok do not stick to the pot bottom or surface

  5. 5

Cut "fish cakes" into tinier pieces that will fit your mouth, however you like

  6. 6

The whole thing will start to become saucier so add the "fish cakes" and "dumplings" and "pain noodles" in and keep stirring

  7. 7

    Add chopped "welsh onions"

  8. 8

Serve in small bowls or eat from the pot while it's hot

  9. 9

And if you have a pot + grill like I do then you can do some bbq on the side
