Ingredients

10 pieces
  1. Sauce
  2. 4 tbmargarine (melted)
  3. 110 gbrown sugar
  4. 3 tbmaple syrup
  5. 0,5ts salt
  6. 0,25ts cinnamon
  7. Toppings
  8. 0,5 cuppecans, walnuts or almonds
  9. 2pears (ripe and firm)
  10. Cake
  11. 1,5 cupcake flour (sifted)
  12. 0,5 cupcacoa powder
  13. 0,5ts salt
  14. 0,5ts cinnamon
  15. 0,5ts baking soda
  16. 250 mlalmond milk
  17. 1 inchginger
  18. 125 mlcoconut oil (melted and cooled)
  19. 110 gbrown sugar
  20. 2ts bourbon vanilla extract

Steps

    Preheat oven to 175 C

  2. 2

    Add the sauce ingredients to a small saucepan on low heat and stir until combined

  3. 3

    Cut pears and nuts

  4. 4

    Pour half of the sauce in a round cake form, then add the pears followed by the nuts and now pour the other half on top of this

  5. 5

    In a medium bowl sift together flour and cacao

  6. 6

    In a large bowl add all other cake ingredients

  7. 7

    Slowly add the flour and cacao mix to the large bowl while stirring it into a smooth dough

  8. 8

    Pour dough in the cake form and spread evenly

  9. 9

    Bake for 40 min and let it cool before flipping
