Ingredients

20 minutes
4 persons
  1. 1 cuprava/suji
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 2 cupsmilk
  4. 1/4 cupmilk
  5. 2 tbspmilk powder
  6. as required Few strands of saffron
  7. as required Few drops of orange food colour
  8. 2 tbspchopped almond
  9. 2-3 tbspalmond flakes for garnishing
  10. 1/4 tspcardemom powder

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil milk in a pan,add sugar and saffron strands.Boil for 5 minutes.Add milk powder,cardemom powder and orange food colour.Mix and keep aside.

  2. 2

    In another pan,add ghee and heat the pan.Add suji and roast for 6-7minutes on low -medium flame till a nice aroma comes out.

  3. 3

    Add chopped almond,mix.Add milk-sugar mixture to the suji.Stir quickly and cook for 2-3minutes till the suji is thick and leaving the pan surface.

  4. 4

    Transfer to a greasd thali/tray.Spread evenly.Sprikle almond flakes over it,press slightly.

  5. 5

    Keep in fridge for 1 hour to be set.

  6. 6

    After 1 hour take out and cut into desired shape.

  7. 7

    Enjoy.Happy cooking.
