Wash beans and cut them to small pieces. Blanch them in hot water for 2min. Drain the water. Keep the half cooked beans aside. This will retain the green colour of beans.

Take 1tbs oil in kadai add mustard seeds. Let them splutter then add cumin seeds and crushed garlic. Saute. Add chilli and coconut paste. Cook till coconut's raw smell goes. Add onions n saute. Add cumin powder, coriander powder and 1/2tsp turmeric powder.

Add beans cover and cook for another 15min. Garnish with coriander leaves.
