Ingredients

16 servings
  1. 3 1/4 cupsflour, sifted
  2. 3 cupssugar
  3. 6large eggs, room temperature
  4. 1 teaspoonvanilla
  5. 2 sticksbutter, softened
  6. 1 cupheavy cream

Cooking Instructions

    Butter and flour a standard size bundt pan, recommend using a heavy cast iron pan

  2. 2

    Cream the butter and sugar together well with a stand mixer

  3. 3

    Alternate with adding a small amount of flour, beating well and add a small amount of cream and beating well. Alternate about 4 times

    Add the vanilla and eggs one at a time, beating well. Beat until until fluffy

  5. 5

    Transfer to the bundt pan

    Bake in a cold oven (no preheat) at 300 F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, until the top is lightly browned

  7. 7

    Can half the recipe and use two 6 cup bundt pans. Bake 50-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and the top is lightly browned
