Ingredients

4people.
  1. 2cups.(small).idli batter:idli rice
  2. 1cup. (Small).raw rice
  3. 1cup (small).urad dal
  4. 1/2 teaspoon .methi seeds
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoon.salt
  6. 1/2 cup .poha
  7. as required .Tri colour.small idli white normal batter
  8. as required .green idli:green chutney mixed with idli batter. Ratio2:5
  9. as required .orange mini idli:carrot puree mixed with idli batter ratio2:5
  10. as required .dhania chutney:dhania
  11. 2.green chilli
  12. 1.onion
  13. as required .coconut few
  14. as required .imli few
  15. 1/2 tsp .Salt
  16. 1/2 cup .coconut chutney:coconut grated
  17. 5ttsp .roasted chana dal
  18. as required .curry leaves few
  19. 1/2 tsp .salt
  20. 2.green chilli
  21. 4.tomato red chutney:tomato
  22. 2.onion
  23. 2.red chilli
  24. 1/2 teaspoon.red chilli powder
  25. 1/2 teaspoon.salt
  26. as required .hing few drops
  27. 3teaspoon.chana dal
  28. 3 teaspoon.urad dal

Steps

  1. 1

    First prepare your idli batter. Take urad dal grind it in a mixie separately. Then, take rice, poha grind separately. Then, mix salt keep it separately. Previous day you have, to soak in water properly washed it should soaked for 5to 6 hours. Then mix with salt then keep it aside in out side temperatures. So that your batter will be doubled, and soft idli you will get.

    Then mix with your batter with coriander chutney with a ratio measurement of 2:4. 2teaspoon dhania chutney 4teaspoon ordinary batter. Steamed your idli vessel then pour with a small spoon to your small idli plate cook for 12minutes your green mini idli ready.

    Then for orange mini idli take carrot puree thr ratio for mixing with batter is 2:6 spoon then take a same method fill your batter with, the help of small spoon then pour in to small idli plate steamed for 12minutes.

    Then for white idli take an ordinary batter do the same method. Steamed for 12minutes.

    Then prepare for your chutney. First coconut pour grated coconut, green chilli, salt, roasted chana dal then grind in a mixi. Then prepare for tadka pouring some refined oil pour black rai, urad dal, hing, add green chilli, curry leaves. Your white chutney ready.

    Orange chutney:take some refined oil pour black, rai, urad dal, chana dak, red chilli, red chilli powder, immediately add red chilli powder, then fry your onion and tomato and switch off your gas then add salt then take a mixi grind it your orange chutney ready.

    Green chutney:Take coriander cut in to small piece keep it away. Cut onion keep it away. Then take grated coconut add green chilli, imli, salt fry onion, coriander leaves, add urad dal, chana dak few teaspoon, add little bit of lemon juice, add salt grind in a mixie your green chutney ready.
