Ingredients

2 people
  • 2fillet plaice
  • 2 gginger
  • Seasoning liquid
  • 2 tablespoonsugar
  • 2 tablespoonmirin
  • 2 tablespoonrice wine
  • 3 tablespoonsoy source
  • 150 mlwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Put all seasoning liquid ingredients in a pan and let it boil.
    Use a pan that is the right size for the fish.

  2. 2

    Slice ginger.

  3. 3

    Add the ginger and plaice and cook over a medium heat.
    Cover the plaice closely with aluminium foil.
    Make sure that the boiling seasoning runs through the aluminium foil and onto the plaice.

    Simmer for 15-20 minutes to allow the plaice to soak up the flavours, then enjoy!
