This is a traditional Japanese fish dish. In addition to plaice,
gurnard fish and sea bream also go well with this dish.

Put all seasoning liquid ingredients in a pan and let it boil.
Use a pan that is the right size for the fish. - 2
Slice ginger.

Add the ginger and plaice and cook over a medium heat.
Cover the plaice closely with aluminium foil.
Make sure that the boiling seasoning runs through the aluminium foil and onto the plaice. - 4
Simmer for 15-20 minutes to allow the plaice to soak up the flavours, then enjoy!
