Love this recipe, so quick and easy to make. It is great as starter or side dish.

Wash and cut the asparagus

I didn't have a frying pan with lid so I use a sauce pan instead. Add the sliced garlic into the cold olive oil in the pan. Heat it slowly so the garlic infuse the flavour in the oil. When the garlic turns golden, put it aside.

Increase the heat to medium. Add the asparagus and stir a few times. Add salt to taste. Cover it and cook them for 5minutes without removing the lid. Shake the pan from time to time.

After 5 minutes, the asparagus should be done. At this point, switch off the heating and add the vinegar. It should be consumed in a few seconds with the heat in the pan. Serve the asparagus in a plate, put Jamon on the top and the crispy sliced garlic.
